This is an activity of the Diabetes, Obesity and the Kidney (DOKI) project. This a TWINNING project, HORIZON-WIDERA-2021-ACCESS-03-01; (PN: 101079207), awarded by the European Comission. One of the many activities of DOKI include the creation, dissemination, as well as, establishing a solid network in the field of renal disease in the context of obesity and diabetes. In this CME, the DOKI partners propose to discuss diverse gender effects in renal disease, with a particular focus on the impact of obesity, diabetes and metabolic syndrome in renal damage.

In this CME, the DOKI partners propose to discuss the role of exercise and dietary interventions in the management of patients with chronic kidney disease, with special emphasis on obesity and diabetes.
